Chiropractic care is beneficial for the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal problems such as:
Techniques and tables we use are safe and effective for children and prenatal patients. Our tables accomodate for a pregnant woman so she can receive care and stay healthy during pregnancy. Chiropractic care is extremely safe and helpful to relieve lower back pain and upper back pain during pregnancy.
In addition, children benefit from chiropractic care by developing proper body mechanics and posture, and healing correctly from all the falls and bumps they take, which is part of childhood. A well functioning spine allows their nervous system to heal and respond better to stress, and conditions such as colic, asthma, and sleeplessness.
Many chiropractic patients find relief from chronic stress, and improved relaxation after treatments. In addition, recent medical studies show chiropractic care can have a beneficial effect on disorders such as allergies, asthma, indigestion, and even high blood pressure. Please see our link to video on chiropractic and high blood pressure.
We pride ourselves on making all of our treatments gentle and comfortable.
Brooklyn Chiropractic Partners provides a variety of traditional and modern chiropractic and related treatments, including:
Your initial visit in our office will test the strength and flexibility of your muscles, particulary as related to your injury. We will also examine your posture and the way you walk in order to correct any problems that could have contributed to your injury. In office stretches and muscle therapy may be performed in addition to spinal adjustments. You will be given a handout of particular stretches and exercises to perform at home to strengthen your injured area and speed recovery. Muscles attach to spinal bones and provide ease of movement and flexibility. In order to complete your rehabilitation, these muscles must be strengthened and flexibility returned to the spine to prevent any future reoccurences of pain and to maintain a strong and healthy spine.
